Extraction vessels in the ARN Ingredients plant

Our Facility

Infrastructure

Our Haridwar plant is laid out so material moves in one direction — intake, extraction, concentration, drying, quality control, dispatch — with segregation at every stage.

Process Flow

Four stages, one chain of custody

Capacity is organised around campaigns, so a customer's material stays identifiable from intake through to the drum that leaves the building.

  • 01

    Intake & Quarantine

Every consignment of botanical raw material is logged, sampled and held until it clears identity and quality checks.

    • Lot-wise segregation on pallets
    • Identity and assay verified before release to production
    • Rejected material isolated and recorded
  • 02

    Extraction

Jacketed and rotary extractors run water, hydro-alcoholic and solvent routes, selected to protect the marker compound.

    • Multiple extractor types for different botanical matrices
    • Campaign-based scheduling with full traceability
    • Clean-area demarcation and GMP controls throughout
  • 03

    Concentration & Drying

Recovery columns concentrate the extract before drying, with vacuum tray drying used for heat-sensitive actives.

    • Solvent recovery to pharmacopoeial residual limits
    • Vacuum tray drying for thermolabile markers
    • Particle size and mesh controlled to specification
  • 04

    Quality Control & Dispatch

Material is released only once the full test panel is on file, then stored and staged for export dispatch.

    • HPLC and UV assay against the named marker
    • Heavy metals, pesticide residue and microbiology screening
    • Sealed, lot-marked drums with complete documentation

Inside the Plant

The facility, as it actually is

Photographed at our Haridwar site — the extraction hall, drying and recovery equipment, utilities and warehousing that produce every consignment we ship.

Extraction Hall

Jacketed stainless steel extractors and receivers arranged over two levels, with demarcated clean-area flooring and GMP signage at every entry point.

Rotary Extractor

Rotary extraction for botanicals that need gentle, uniform solvent contact across the full charge.

Vacuum Tray Dryer

Low-temperature drying under vacuum protects heat-sensitive markers that would degrade in conventional hot-air drying.

Distillation & Recovery

Condensers and recovery columns return solvent to the process, keeping residual solvent within pharmacopoeial limits.

Steam Generation

Dedicated boiler house supplying consistent process steam to extractors, dryers and recovery columns.

Raw Material Store

Incoming botanicals held on pallets by lot, quarantined until identity and quality checks are cleared.

Finished Goods Store

Released material held in sealed HDPE drums, lot-marked and staged in dispatch lanes for export consignments.

Scale

From a pilot batch to a full campaign

We run pilot quantities to prove a specification before committing a commercial campaign, so a new product can be validated without tying up your working capital.
